sunshineintherain asked:

I live in Vegas and have met people from every where. The general consensus is that Vegas is the place to go if you want to be bad. But, living here (since I was 12 years old) just seems like a regular city with bad traffic, crime and politics. I watch TV and see how it is shown. I even go to the clubs featured on the travel shows. I definitely understand the allure, but, I’ve also partied in New York, San Francisco, Miami and Mexico. I loved every place I went to. Las Vegas just seems to hold that extra fantasy and I was wondering if you could tell me exactly what it is.

Powered by Yahoo Answers

If Harry Reid hadn’t succeeded in politics, he could have done well in real estate. Actually, the Senate Democratic leader, who hails from Nevada, has managed both.

In 2001, he made $1.1 million on a Las Vegas transaction that got him some unwanted attention from the Senate ethics committee because he failed to report some crucial information on his financial disclosure forms. Now, we learn that he bought out a business partner in another land deal at a price that looks too good to be true and that he has sponsored legislation that would benefit that former partner.

pamela t asked:

Deed of Sale of property in Nevada has been in escrow since December, 05. Closing was extended because there was a pending lien (bankruptcy CH 13) on the property. CH 13 was dismissed eventually and both seller and buyer can go back now to closing. Since property in Las Vegas has dropped drastically, there is a need to change the figures of purchase price of property. But the total am’t the seller will get is still the same. $200,000 is the am’t they actually sold to us. Original purchase is $268,000. $68,000.00 goes to gift of equity w/c the bank will hold. Buyer wrote an ammendment to change the purchase to $249,000.00 w/c is the current buying price of the property in the area where it is located. Still the am’t the buyer will get is still $200,000.00. so nothing has changed except the money the bank will hold as equity has lowered. Seller had a pending divorce and husband just refused to sign the ammendment because he just want to get even with the wife. who will get 100% of sale

Powered by Yahoo Answers

I can’t elaborate too much on my idea, because it is something I don’t want too many others to know about at this time. I am considering a partner who has a lot of startup capital, or a partner who will assume the responsibility of getting a government business loan. I have thought of seeking a venture capitalist, or someone already well established in real estate who want to expand. Where can I go to find someone willing to start this business with me, other than traditional advertising (newspaper ads, radio, ect)?

Powered by Yahoo Answers
