Nashville tax preparer admits to filing false returns for clients


A Nashville business owner said she lied on her clients’ tax returns to get them more money.

Ironelly Mora, 39, of Nashville, admitted in court that from 2013 to 2017 she claimed false tax credits and exemptions for her customers to help grow her business, Latinos Unidos tax preparations.

It cost the IRS nearly $400,000.

She faces up to three years in prison.
